About this Role
Craft clear, user-focused copy that enhances usability, accessibility, and brand consistency across all digital products and internal tools
Responsibilities
- Write clear, concise, and engaging microcopy for apps, websites, and internal tools (buttons, error messages, tooltips, modals, etc.)
- Collaborate with designers and researchers to ensure copy aligns with user flows, accessibility, and tone guidelines
- Participate in the process of user testing and A/B experiments to evaluate copy effectiveness and clarity
- Maintain consistent voice and tone across all user-facing and internal platforms
- Support the creation of onboarding flows, UX content guides, and naming conventions for features
- Translate technical concepts into user-friendly language that improves usability
- Review and edit content to ensure it meets UX writing standards and reflects brand identity
Skills
- Strong writing and editing skills focused on clarity and empathy
- Familiarity with UX design principles and user-centered design
- Proficient in Figma, FigJam, and Google Workspace
- Able to adapt tone and style to different contexts and audiences
- Comfortable collaborating with designers, researchers, and developers
- Organized, detail-oriented, and open to feedback
Commitment
- Weekly commitment is 10 hrs/week
- Weekly department meeting attendance is expected
- If you cannot make a meeting, you need to communicate it to your Director at least 24 hours in advance
- Always read meeting minutes and communicate about your progress with action items
